Help To Buy And Incentives For Home Buyers |

With Christmas a little more than five weeks away, many of the UK's leading housebuilders are looking to attract customers by offering a number of incentives. We have seen in recent weeks Persimmon Homes offering their customers free white goods and wardrobes for buyers who move in by christmas whilst over at Barratt Homes they are offering free flooring for new buyers who reserve their new home before the 31st of December. However, all the talk again surrounds the government's Help to Buy scheme. This allows buyers the opportunity to purchase their own home with a low deposit of 5% and, along with an additional 15% government top up opens up the property ladder to more people. In 2017 the UK housing market was worth £9.7bn and this trend has continued to grow in 2018 with over 100,000 homes in England alone being snapped up through this scheme. Huntingtower Removals have been the length and breadth of the country this year and around 30 of our clients from Milton Keynes, London and Worthing on Englands south coast have benefitted from Help to Buy.
